The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. A&H is a group of sophisticated attractions that includes a contemporary art museum, 3 interactive history museums, and a stunning campus recognized as Central Florida's only National Historic Landmark. Complete a different project in each Metal Clay Jewelry Workshop! Join us this month to create charms from handmade molds and metal clay.

Maitland Art Center

In this workshop you will learn how to use a silicone compound to make reusable molds from a variety of small items that you bring from home or are available from the instructor. Then, using your handmade molds and fine silver metal clay, you will create charms for bracelets, earrings, or pendants. Additionally, you will learn how to set gemstones and embed jump rings into your creation. All pieces will be fired after the workshop and available for pick-up the following week. For beginners or intermediate level students.Workshop is for adults 18 and over. Registration is $65. Please note that a materials fee of $55 (in cash) is due to the instructor at the start of the workshop.Location: Maitland Art Center-Studio 10, 231 W.
