Will seating be available?

Yes, seating will be available for those who RSVP on EventBrite! We reorganize the shop for our journaling meet-ups. There are plenty of tables and chairs for everyone.

Is this event open to walk-ins?

Accepted Answer

You're welcome to still stop by the store during the meet-up, we just can't guarantee you a seat unless you RSVP. However, limited extra seats will be available for walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Question 3

Do you provide journaling supplies?

Accepted Answer

You bet! We have common journaling supplies available to use for free, such as scissors and glue, plus you can purchase any additional journaling supplies you'd like to use from the shop. We also have a Stationery Swap Station where you can snag free supplies left by other local journalers.

Question 4

Do you provide food and beverages?

Accepted Answer

Papel Arcano does not provide food or beverages. However, there are many places to grab a snack or a drink within walking distance and even within the same plaza, including: Boba Heaven, Pho Lime, Brew Point, Hunan Palace, Zenwich, Cilantro, Nathan's Noodles, and more!

Question 5

What should I bring? Do I have to journal at the event?

Accepted Answer

Bring yourself and anything crafty you want to work on! It doesn't necessarily have to be journaling, as long as the craft won't be intrusive to any other attendees. For example, you're welcome to embroider, crochet, or even just chat!

Do I have to stay for the entire meet-up?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Stop by whenever is convenient for you and stay as long as you'd like!
