Las Adelitas

A Garden of Doors

A Garden of Doors is a community-based project by Heidi Duckler Dance/Northwest that invites the residents of Las Adelitas and the general public to embark on a creative journey through storytelling, painting, music, and movement.

Discover the power of visual storytelling with muralist Oliver Casillas in this hands-on mural painting workshop for Las Adelitas residents and the general public. The mural painting will be on repurposed-doors that will be incorporated into a set explored by dancers in a performance of <a href="https://heididucklernorthwest.org/" title="https://heididucklernorthwest.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">A Garden of Doors</a> in the garden at Las Adelitas later in the year. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or already love to paint, this is your chance to explore creativity, connection, and community through mural art.
