Humor in Storytelling: Learn how to be hilarious while telling a story from 6-time Moth GrandSLAM champion Matthew Dicks

You don&#x27;t need to be funny to tell a great story, but it doesn&#x27;t hurt. In this four week workshop, 50-time Moth StorySLAM winner, 6-time GrandSLAM champion, bestselling author, and occasional stand-up comic will teach his 25 strategies and performance techniques used to craft and tell stories that are packed with strategically hilarious moments. THIS IS A FOUR WEEK WORKSHOP. DATES ARE:APRIL 21 and 28 and MAY 5 and 128:00-9:30 PM EST This is not a workshop on stand up comedy but a workshop on how, when, and why to make a story funny. In addition to direct instruction, participants will have the opportunity to practice these strategies and receive a critique in a story of their own during one of the four week sessions.
