The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. Join us for this workshop to learn to knot and string your own pearls, old or new! Techniques will allow for future pearl or bead projects.

Maitland Art Center

Have you ever wanted to learn to string pearls? Do you want to restring your Grandmother’s heirloom pearls? Anyone can learn to string! During this workshop you will learn to knot a string of pearls. The materials fee will provide you with your own bead board; pearls; white gloves; beading awl &amp; thread; clasp; cutters; and informational sheets to take home. Techniques taught in class will be applicable for your future pearl or bead stringing projects.Workshop is for ages 15 and over. Registration is $50. Please note that a materials fee of $25 (in cash) is due to the instructor at the start of the workshop.Location: Maitland Art Center-Studio 5, 231 W. Packwood Ave., Maitland, FL 32751.This workshop will also be offered on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 10 AM-1 PM EST.
