The Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) is a premier cultural destination and community gathering place in Central Florida, about 15 minutes from downtown Orlando. Learn the basics of jewelry making and take home your own handmade piece of jewelry!

Maitland Art Center

Learn the basics of jewelry making! This is a great introduction to the art of creating beautiful jewelry. In this workshop you will complete one metal project without soldering. You will learn to use a jeweler’s saw, cut jump rings, cut metal sheet, and various polishing techniques to create a beautiful pendant. The materials fee will provide you with your own set of jewelry pliers, files, other tools, and informational sheets to take home. Techniques taught in class and the tools you take home will be applicable for your future jewelry projects.Workshop is for ages 15 and over. Registration is $50. Please note that a materials fee of $35 (in cash) is due to the instructor at the start of the workshop.Location: Maitland Art Center-Studio 5, 231 W. Packwood Ave., Maitland, FL 32751.This workshop will also be offered on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 10 AM-1 PM EST.
