An artist talk and gallery tour with Rex Hausmann, Jiwon Song, curator, and Kate Shin, founder of Waterfall Mansion & Gallery in New York.

Contemporary artist Rex Hausmann is a San Antonian who graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (M.F.A. painting 2016, B.F.A. painting 2006 ). Rex was selected as one of 63 international contemporary artists to participate in Waterfall&#x27;s 2021 ART/ACT GROUP EXHIBITION, created as &quot;a home experience filled with a collective Light – where artists and their works are deemed potent, creative, and whole, and enjoy a freedom to explore divinely inspired creativity.&quot; Join us, with Rex and his family, for a private virtual tour of his work at the exquisite Waterfall Mansion &amp; Gallery.Rex Hausmann has shown and lectured nationally and internationally, appearing in many speaking functions including TEDx San Antonio at Trinity University, McNay Museum of Art, The San Antonio Museum of Art, and The University of Texas at San Antonio as well as The Spencer Museum of Art. He has shown work at The Smithsonian in Washington DC, The Institute of Texan Cultures, Neiman Marcus, The Lawrence Art Center, and The Cloister at Sea Island Resort. He has spoken on National Public Radio many times across the United States. Kate J. Shin is the Developer/Owner of Waterfall Mansion and founder of Waterfall Gallery. Since 2014, Kate has operated it as a powerful creative and cultural hub in the heart of NYC. Kate has consistently curated highly acclaimed exhibitions at major museums, the UN, luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman, global luxury brands such as Fendi, Rolls Royce, Sony, and Samsung, and major real estate developers. Kate has been appointed as one of the leads in creating all of the commissioned artworks for Nike’s world corporate headquarters including the innovation building, Coach K building, and the new Nike museum, working directly with Phil Knight’s art committee. Jiwon Song is an artist, art educator, and curator based in New York City, who magnifies each person&#x27;s beautiful uniqueness through art, which she believes is the most powerful communication tool. Jiwon currently communicates and manages the breath of international contemporary artists and numerous exhibitions at Waterfall Mansion &amp; Gallery. Over the seven years, she has developed a sustainable art education model for marginalized communities in Kenya and organized a team every summer as a director of the Art Education Program at Mtree.
