An important component of crime victims’ rights enforcement in criminal cases may include the appellate review process. It is critical for victims’ rights attorneys to know how to create a record and preserve an issue for appellate review. This training will address the scope of appellate review, identify select, key steps to creating a record sufficient for appellate review, and share examples of potential pitfalls to avoid on the road to seeking appellate review of victims’ rights issues.Presented by: Amy C.
