El Museo del Barrio, New York's leading Latino cultural institution welcomes visitors of all backgrounds to discover the artistic landscape of Latino, Caribbean, and Latin American cultures. Their richness is represented in El Museo's wide-ranging collections and critically acclaimed exhibitions, complemented by film, literary, visual and performing arts series, cultural celebrations, and educational programs.

Coquí Club, our bilingual program for our tiniest visitors at El Museo del Barrio. Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their adult caregivers.

Hola! El Museo is excited to bring Coquí Club, our bilingual program for our tiniest visitors, into your casita. Coquí Club Is a live, interactive program facilitated by our museum educators and includes storytelling, discussion and an art making project. For our upcoming session, we celebrate sibling love, with works by artist Groana Melendez, featured in El Museo's <a href="https://www.elmuseo.org/la-trienal/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ESTAMOS BIEN - LA TRIENAL 20/21 </a>whose photographs depict moments spent with her family. We will also read together, The New Small Person by Lauren Child and learn about the growing bond between a boy named Elmore and his baby brother.FREE ADMISSION via Zoom Live. (Instructions to log on will be sent via email to registrants prior to the event)This program is a part of El Museo en Tu Casa, our new bilingual digital initiative encouraging visitors to explore and learn about Latino art and culture.
