Join Artist-In-Residence Misty Sol for an artist workshop. 

In this workshop, we will explore the ways afro-futurist consciousness was preserved and incubated in Black women&#x27;s&#x27; kitchens, gardens, and private spaces. Through breathing, movement, memory, and baking, we investigate how to incorporate the Black ways of knowing, into our creative and educational practices.About The Artist: Misty Sol, a writer/visual artist from small-town Pennsylvania creates art to explore Black people’s connections to family, nature, and speculation. When she isn’t painting, writing, or homeschooling her two kids, Misty enjoys making meals from scratch, gardening, and foraging for wild edible plants. She has lived in Philadelphia and loved it for a long time.
