Do my kids have to know they are going to play college sports?

Accepted Answer

No. Even if your student athlete thinks they want to play college sports, this is a great opportunity to learn more about it.  Plus - what they learn will bring value even if they don't play sports and will help them view this whole process in a much more positive, fun, and proactive approach.

Question 2

Isn't 8th grade a little early to begin the college recruiting process?

Accepted Answer

No. We try to engage 8th and 9th graders, and their families, to begin the recruiting process, so they have the opportunity to try college on. When student athletes begin in the 8th and 9th grade, they have time to figure out who they are and what they might want in a college experience.

Question 3

Is this workshop geared for boys or girls?

Accepted Answer

Both.  We work with all genders, all sports, and all levels of talent.  If your child wants to play college sports, we believe there is a place for them.

Question 4

What if my student athlete is a senior in high school?  Is it too late?

Accepted Answer

No.  This workshop will be extremely valuable if your student athlete is a senior and still wants to play college sports.

Question 5

We have a recruiting service already? How can this workshop help?

Accepted Answer

While recruiting services can be helpful with exposure, this workshop sheds a light on the other critically important issues that you will face during the recruiting process and teaches you how to navigate them. You don't know what you don't know.  It's not just about waiting to be found.
