Amy Sullivan is a Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach, Yoga Teacher, and Recipe Creator. During 15 years in Corporate America, she observed and experienced many of the unique stresses that women go through balancing their work and personal life. She combined that knowledge with certifications in food, yoga, and wellness, plus learnings from her personal journey toward health & self-love to build her health coaching program. Now she’s found her true life’s calling helping busy women conquer stress, re-energize, and love themselves inside and out.  In her free time, Amy loves gardening, exploring the natural world, signing with her guitar, and the occasional mermaiding with friends.

The Spring Equinox marks the first day of spring. It marks the end of winter and the return of the light bringing longer days, new crops, and a reset in terms of fertility. We attune to this energy by coming out of our cocoon to plant the seeds of new beginnings. In other words, hibernation season is over. It&#x27;s time to come alive again.It is also a day of rebirth and blossoming of the coming year. A chance for new beginnings and this energy provides the perfect template for intention and goal setting. This is the perfect time to reflect and reset. What intentions or resolutions have fallen to the wayside since January 1? Now is the time to reprioritize and realign with the cosmic universe. Think of the spring equinox as a time to make another pledge to improve yourself and your life. It&#x27;s a new beginning.Join us on the equinox, Saturday, March 20, 2021 for an online workshop aimed at helping you reflect and reset your intentions so that all your dreams can bloom and grow in 2021! We focus this intention setting around a holistic approach to wellness as this is the basic foundation needed to achieve any goal, a healthy mind, body, and spirit.We’ll begin our journey by moving our bodies with an energizing and fun pilates class, led by Abla Hamza. Designed for all fitness levels we promise you’ll get a great workout and get your blood pumping and your creative juices flowing.We’ll transition into a meditation designed to help you ground, focus, and hone in on your true heart’s desires and intentions for the coming year. Abla will bring you into that place within, through guided breathwork and visualization.Then Amy will guide you in applying your intentions via a creative outlet, officially setting our goals and putting your desires out into the universe so they can start to bloom. We’ll work with your learning and creative style be it drawing, words, mantras, or affirmations.We’ll wrap things up in the kitchen with Amy, whipping up a tasty healthy post workout snack designed to energize and fuel your body from the inside out.We can’t wait to bloom and grow with you and celebrate the start of spring and cultivate your most amazing and healthy year yet! Abla started her journey with a group fitness certification and soon found herself drawn to methods that were more mind/body oriented. She received her first Pilates mat certification in Dallas, TX and, following a move to the east coast, continued her Pilates education by earning a Power Pilates (Classical) Comprehensive Certification on Pilates apparatus in 2011 and later becoming a part of the global Pilates community obtaining a certification with the Pilates Method Alliance (National Certified Pilates Teacher) in 2012. From gyms to boutique studios, Abla has taught Pilates in Dallas, Philadelphia, Manhattan, Santa Monica, and now Carlsbad/Encinitas. She has worked with a wide range of clientele including athletes, television personalities, dancers, individuals recovering from injuries, and those seeking to improve their overall fitness and well-being.
