Verge Theater is thrilled to present a staged reading of Thomas Hischak's, Ladies Sigh No More, a bold and witty play that brings together some of Shakespeare’s most iconic heroines—Juliet, Ophelia, Lady Macbeth, Desdemona, Cordelia, and more—as they confront their pasts in an unexpected and surreal modern setting. Set in a psychiatric institution, the women grapple with questions of identity, fate, and how their stories were written, challenging the narratives that have defined them for centuries. Smart, moving, and often laugh-out-loud funny, this inventive script offers a fresh perspective on familiar characters.This powerful production features an all-star Bozeman cast under the insightful direction of Sharon Beehler, a longtime force in Montana’s literary and theatrical communities. Don’t miss this rare gem that’s equal parts satire, reclamation, and celebration of women’s voices—both past and present. Performances will run two nights only, July 11 &amp; 12 at Verge Theater.
