No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. Click here to join today.</a></p><h2>Emergent Gifts and Calls: A Creative Exploration</h2><h3>Domains: Creative Expression, Healing Work, Body</h3><p>In the wake of 2020&#x27;s many upheavals, who do we want to be, and how do we want to emerge? What tools, strategies and supports do we need to do the real work of relational healing in ourselves and our communities? Building on adrienne maree brown&#x27;s beautiful exposition of the concept of &quot;emergent strategy,&quot; we will take time to locate ourselves, and to name our gifts and calls, in the context of the communities that we are already a part of and the worlds we are co-creating as we speak. This course will use writing, storytelling, gentle movement, embodied practice and more to explore our concerns, desires and dreams for how we can show up for our shared future. All are welcome! They are grateful for the opportunity to offer one-on-one and group accompaniment as a Teaching Assistant with this year&#x27;s Daring Compassion Movement Chaplaincy Training program through Faith Matters Network. Kaia has also served on the Collective Leadership Team with Survivor Theatre Project for many years, and is eager to embark on storytelling projects that bring strategies and spiritualities of survivor artists, activists, and healers into public discourse.</p><h3>Your Zoom link will be sent with your registration confirmation.
