Join us this February for free virtual screenings of The Story of Plastic to celebrate Zero Waste Month in Asia Pacific!

The Break Free From Plastic movement is celebrating <a href="https://www.breakfreefromplastic.org/zero-waste-month-2021/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Zero Waste Month</a> in Asia Pacific this February! And we’re not just talking about bringing an eco bag to the grocery store or skipping plastic straws. We’re going to talk about Zero Waste SYSTEMS and city- or community-wide solutions for a plastic-free future! These Zero Waste systems don&#x27;t exist in a vacuum; they&#x27;re part of the larger and multi-layered issues of the plastic pollution and climate crises. Learn about the interconnectedness of all these issues and more in The Story of Plastic—a searing expose presenting a cohesive timeline of how we got to our current global plastic pollution crisis and how the oil and gas industry has successfully manipulated the narrative around it. From the extraction of fossil fuels and plastic disposal to the global resistance fighting back, The Story of Plastic is a life-changing film depicting one of the world’s most pressing environmental issues. Note about the online screenings:You can view The Story of Plastic anytime starting 3 PM on February 1 until 11:00 PM on February 12. Upon clicking the &quot;Select a Date&quot; button on the upper right of this page, you&#x27;ll see that all screenings until February 12 are at 7 PM. Don&#x27;t worry, you&#x27;re not limited to this time slot. There are no set schedules for the screening, so you&#x27;re free to watch whenever it&#x27;s most convenient for you during this period. After selecting your date, you&#x27;ll then receive access to the film via the email you used to register for the screening.
