Find your people, Find your practice. We are a place where community and contemplation meet. No more trying to be mindful alone.The Hive exists to develop creative, compassionate, and mindfully-engaged citizens in the Cincinnati region through small group classes and workshops. We have curated a collective of proven teachers, facilitators, and spiritual directors to help guide your learning in mindfulness, contemplation, art and action. We hope you'll try a class and like it enough to become a regular member. Your partnership helps make this nonprofit possible.(As a social enterprise, the Hive shares our story with photos of classes and events. Even when we wake up with less than our typical enthusiasm, we can still cultivate a practice that gets our day going in a hopeful direction.  In this series will be doing just that- engaging in a morning practice to Notice what is alive in our brains and bodies, Accept what is true for us in our present moments and Invite supportive and hopeful ways of being into our consciousness as we head out into the rest of our day.  This series will not be focused on downloading information, rather, a practice space where we can learn Notice, Accept, Invite in community and take it with us as we continue to navigate our moments and our days.</p><p>Sarah believes that nothing has the power to heal like supportive relationships. Specializing in trauma responsive care, she helps organizations and individuals disrupt current models of thinking by building empathy and understanding around the effects of trauma.</p><p>Sarah has worked in community organizing for over a decade. Her focus is to spread awareness about how trauma affects the brain and body, and teach effective approaches for developing resilience within the people organizations strive to serve, and the people closest to the work: caregivers and direct providers. </p><h3>Your Zoom link will be sent with your registration confirmation.
