An Appraiser-Led Analysis of the High-Performing Home Premium in Midwest Markets

Elevate Energy released a first-of-its-kind, Midwest focused, appraiser-led analysis, Realizing the Value: An Appraiser-Led Analysis of the High-Performing Home Premium in Leading Midwest Markets. To date, there has been no other appraiser-led research to investigate the potential of a high-performing premium in the Midwest. “Realizing the Value” shows evidence of a premium for high-performing homes, and assesses the visibility of high-performing home verifications and features in local MLSs in four Midwestern metropolitan areas.Attendees of this session will learn about results from the analysis and the steps that Multiple Listing Services, appraisers, real estate agents, and clean energy professionals can take to ensure high-performing homes and their features are properly valued at the time of sale. In this role, she works to ensure the value of high-performing homes are visible in real estate transactions. She manages the Value for High Performing Homes initiative and has expertise in engaging various sectors of the real estate community on issues such as energy efficiency and solar. Pamela helped develop and launch two solar education classes for real estate professionals and created a class that focuses solely on energy efficiency. A particularly favorite part of her work is teaching these classes across the country. Before joining Elevate Energy, Pamela worked with municipal leaders, community organizations, and residents to galvanize support around the adoption of policies to improve health in Chicagoland.Session Sponsor
