Is there a virtual option to attend the conference?

The California Indian Law Conference is an in-person event only. Remote or virtual participation will not be available this year. We look forward to welcoming attendees onsite for meaningful discussions, networking, and community building.

Accepted Answer

All are welcome to attend the California Indian Law Conference. Typical attendees include attorneys, tribal leaders, tribal government professionals, law students, and others with an interest in federal Indian law and tribal law.

What are the nearest airports to Graton Resort & Casino?

Accepted Answer

The closest major airports are Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS), located about 20 minutes from the venue, and San Francisco International Airport (SFO), about 75 minutes away. Other nearby options include Oakland International Airport (OAK) and Sacramento International Airport (SMF).

What is Wednesday night's Welcome Dinner? Why should I attend?

CILA's Welcome Dinner is an informal gathering for CILA Conference attendees ahead of the Conference. There is no extra charge for attendees to join the Welcome Dinner. We will serve a BBQ buffet with salad, chicken, brisket, sides, dessert, and vegan options. We will also have a cash bar.

Can I purchase a table for the Awards Dinner?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tables for the Awards Dinner are available for purchase and can seat either 8 or 10 guests. The cost is $150 per seat. Please note that Awards Dinner tickets are already included with conference registration. Separate dinner tickets/tables may be purchased for those not attending the Conference

Will there be an event photographer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A photographer will be on site for Thursday’s Awards Dinner only. We’re excited to welcome Kodak (QT with a Camera), a 2Spirit/queer Native American and Mexican artist from Santa Rosa whose work celebrates QTBIPOC communities and creates safe, authentic spaces through photography.
