Creating Relevance in a Time of Uncertainty with Guest Speaker Andy Coville

The Civil Discourse Lab (CDL) for Collaborative Leadership and the Public Good is housed in the Department of Communication at the University of New Hampshire (est. December 2017 by Communication professors and Co-Directors Jennifer Borda and Renee Heath). The Lab was launched with the expressed mission to integrate pedagogy, scholarship and praxis “to strengthen the ability of our students and community members to conduct meaningful conversations, collaborate, and make decisions about sometimes difficult but important topics to a civil society.” The newly established CDL CIRCLE (Conversations at the Intersection of Research and Community Listening Exchange) series connects cutting-edge research to the most important questions about “what we should do” together as citizens in our communities.
