Here at The Barrett School of Music we pride ourself on the well-rounded nature of our studio. Teachers in our studio either hold music degrees or are currently working towards completing either a B.A in Music or a B.A in Music Education. We believe that the balance of education and performance experience is critical to being both effective teachers as well as musicians, thus, illuminating the importance of hiring instructors who preform regularly. The instruments that we instruct here at The Barrett School of Music arePiano, Voice, Guitar, Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass.In addition to weekly lessons, we offer a variety of performance opportunities, workshops, summer camps, master classes and much more throughout the calendar year to allow our students to apply and musical knowledge that they obtain in our both private one-on-one and group lessons. Regardless of age, skill level or depth of study of the student, we are here to help you set your own musical goals and fulfill them!We understand the meaning of Family and the benefits of having music in the household, but we are not blind to the difficulties in making music lessons a part of the weekly schedule. <h1>2021 Music Summer Camp in Brandon</h1>Are you looking for a <a href="https://musicschoolintampa.com/music-summer-camps-in-tampa/brandon/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">music summer camp in Brandon</a> that will give your child a new set of skills? Maybe your child has been asking for music lessons already. Do you have an instrument at home that he or she is always picking up? Does your child walk around the house singing all the time? Join us this summer for our introductory camp to all things music!<h2>The Camp</h2>Our <a href="https://musicschoolintampa.com/tampa-music-teachers/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">teachers</a> love introducing students to new instruments. We have created a curated music summer camp in Brandon that is sure to entertain and  engage. Each camper will have one-on-one time with our teachers as well as learning in a group. With their guidance, your children will gain experience on several instruments, all while laughing and making new friends.Check out this video from our Instagram story last summer! This was our Friday performance for family and friends.<h2>The Content</h2>Throughout the week, students will learn the fundamentals on a variety of instruments, ranging from piano, voice, guitar and percussion instruments. We will teach solos as well as ensemble pieces on each instrument that they enjoy. Students can choose how many instruments to try out and how light or heavy of a workload they prefer. Plus, we will use guided games that teach rhythm and pitch to break up practice sessions. And we will reinforce these concepts with a daily craft which your child will bring home to you!<h2>The Performances</h2>A successful performance always instills a sense of pride, and we believe that successful performances teach children how to manage pressure.  So we are giving them many opportunities for success at our Music Summer Camp in Brandon! Join us at the end of the day on Thursday for a student-led talent show. This will be casual solo performances designed mainly by the students.
