Convening on Adult Learner Access – Creative Services Faculty

Join PEER TO PEER conversations with faculty in your discipline! Considering how adult learners can best access our programs is increasingly important as Minnesota State responds to changing demographics and the needs of Minnesota employers. Purpose: Providing faculty an opportunity for peer-to-peer discussions concerning ways you can support Adult Learners and facilitate greater access to your programs.Convening Agenda: <ol><li>Introductions (5 minutes)</li><li>Convening Goals and Resources (20 minutes) </li><li>Peer-to-peer breakout discussions, by program area (1-1/2 hours to 2 hours) </li><li>Wrap up (10 minutes) </li></ol>Outcomes: <ul><li>Raise awareness of assets and challenges faced by Adult Learners. </li><li>Raise awareness and comfort level with system resources (credit for prior learning, assessment, sequence of learning, et al.). </li><li>Explore potential summer projects and funding opportunities.</li></ul>To RSVP: Click the green &quot;register&quot; button at the top right of this page and follow the registration form.
