Equitable Dinners: Lift Every Voice Anti-Racism and Uncentering Whiteness

Equitable Dinners and The National Center for Civil and Human Rights will host 5000 guests in 500 dinners, in September 2022, across metro Atlanta to share our unique story of Atlanta, hear and connect with the stories of others, and be inspired to make a positive difference in the places where we live.

Join us as we talk about anti-racism and uncentering whiteness, with a short play,  a presentation and facilitated small group conversation.

<h3>In light of Covid-19 and its disparate effects on communities of color, conversations about anti-racism are more necessary than ever. </h3><h3>Join us for the next Equitable Dinners: Lift Every Voice on Sunday, March 21, with a focus on Anti-Racism and Uncentering Whiteness.  The evening will start with a play written by Lilliangina Quinones, followed by our special Equitable Dinners Design Team Panel featuring: Eugene H. Russell IV, Michelle Pokopac, Lexi McKay, Lee Osorio, Niya Randall and Allison Bantimba. Moderated by Terra Gay followed by small group facilitated conversation.</h3>

<h3>As we navigate social distancing, it's easy to be overwhelmed about which issues still need our attention right now. </h3><h3>Equitable Dinners: Lift Every Voice is a free, live series of online conversations, featuring art, guest speakers on a range of topics, and an opportunity to connect with your neighbors locally and around the world to talk about anti-racism. </h3><h3>Equitable Dinners: Lift Every Voice will take place one Sunday a month from 5:00 to 7:00 PM through June 2021. </h3><h3>We are engaging several of these topics over the next several months: Anti-Racism and Poverty, Reparations, Whiteness, Prison Industrial System, Maternal Health, and Black Men's Mental Health. </h3>
