The Elements of Solo Performance – Special Edition: Solo Performance in the Great Outdoors!Taught by Mark KenwardClass Description:Create and/or hone an original solo performance piece, while learning specific techniques that will help you unleash the full potential of this wonderful art form. This class is limited to only 5 participants so that everyone receives in-depth coaching. Each class will include discussions, handouts, and/or exercises focusing on a particular aspect of the craft of solo performance, including: Power through Purpose; Editing for Energy; Integrating Modes (Acting, Storytelling, Standup, etc.); Connecting to the Audience; Affirmations for the Stage; and more! This special edition class will meet in the meadow in back of Mark’s home studio (The High Dive) in the Oakland Hills, and will culminate with a performance on The High Dive Meadow Stage. All current COVID-19 safety protocols will be observed.
