Private Box w/4 Seats to  a  Live Performance of "NEAT"

Hattiloo Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2006 with a mission to develop a Black theatre that is accessible to, relevant to, and reflective of a multicultural community. Along with eight mainstage shows each year, the theatre also produces youth programs like Hattiloo at the Library, which focus on early engagement in the arts, and development of artistic, academic, and social skills.

In "Neat," Aunt Beneatha becomes a focal point of the pubescent Charlayne's identity crisis and shifting value system.

<p>Based in the oral traditions of the African Diaspora, award-winning playwright Charlayne Woodard is a modern-day griot. NEAT is the story of Woodard's beloved Aunt Beneatha (Neat). As an infant, Neat is denied treatment at the local “white” hospital, resulting in her permanent brain damage. With her enormous love, Neat teaches Charlayne to cherish life through the turbulent 1960s and 1970s.</p>
