Crosstown Trail 6th Anniversary

Celebrate 6 years of the Crosstown Trail with a guided walk on the original Crosstown or newer Double Cross route!

Meet at the Queen Wilhelmina Garden &amp; northern windmill in Golden Gate Park, near the Beach Chalet, close to where Fulton St. meets the Great Highway. We’ll explore the newly rebuilt ponds and gardens along Chain of Lakes drive, then make our way east to the Rose Garden where we connect with the Crosstown Trail. We’ll hike the northern half of Section 4 and all of Section 5 out to Lands End. While this may be the northern end of the CT, we’re not quite done as we explore the frequently overlooked Sutro Heights park, then head south back down to the start.
