This training will provide an introduction to the CSSRS as a screening tool for suicide prevention.

Training Overview: The Columbia Protocol, also known as the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS), supports suicide risk assessment through a series of simple, plain-language questions that anyone can ask. The answers help users identify whether someone is at risk for suicide, assess the severity and immediacy of that risk, and gauge the level of support that the person needs. This webinar will provide an introduction to the CSSRS as a screening tool for suicide prevention. Continuing Education Information:An application is currently pending to provide 1.5 CEs for Ohio licensed Counselors and Social Workers Per our grant funding, this opportunity is intended for providers who work with youth between the ages of 10-24 in some clinical capacity.
