ODE TO THE WEST WIND: PRE-EQUINOX EDITION

<p>MARCH 6, 2021</p><p>All year we will be working with snake and serpent energy—all its metaphors, in all its forms, from the Garden of Eden, to Greek and Kemetic ideas of medicine, to mythologies and metaphors around mathematical and mystical conceptions of the infinite, to more recent valances of the serpent, whose imagery was used a lot during the Revolutionary period as the USA was giving birth to itself, and the more recent phenomenon of Snake Oil cures and medicine shows—the whole phenomenon of shysterism, charlatan spirituality, the intersection of commerce, wellness, and theatre, and the commodification of so-called ancient methods.  Saying nothing of the crucified serpent of the dollar $ymbol or the infinite anaconda of human desire....</p>
