This day is for any parent or caregiver who has experienced the death of a child—regardless of how long ago the loss occurred or the child’s age at death.

Do I have to speak or share in a group?

No. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Just being there is enough.

Can I bring a support person?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please register for each adult attending.

Is this a religious event?

Accepted Answer

No. Though we are meeting in a church space that was so generously donated to us by Central United Methodist Church, Parents Left Behind is not a faith based organization. We welcome registrants of all religious affiliations, no religious affiliations or somewhere in between.

Is there a cost to attend?

No. This event is completely free thanks to the generous support of our donors and sponsors.

How do I submit my child’s photo for the memorial?

Accepted Answer

Email a picture to tania.parentsleftbehind@gmail.com with your child’s name by 8/8/25.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Just yourself. Comfortable clothes and an open heart. Everything else is provided.
