本讲座列举两百幅中西绘画作品，在两者画法差异中分析中国画 “意象思 维 ”的特征，梳理文人画传统的历史流变与图像分析，从汉语思维的高度上，去理解中国传统的艺术精神。中国文化的核心密码存在于汉字之中。汉字通过驾驭语言（超越语音之上）， 奠定中国大一统的文化格局；汉字通过渗透绘画，奠定了中国人基本的视觉审 美趣味。儒道释信仰和传统文化的种种观念，浸淫于国画作品中，寓无形于有相， 从这个意义上说，中国人是一个审美共同体——汉语思维定义了中国艺术，其艺 术传统围绕着意象思维与笔墨诗学之间相互转换，这一原则是文人画传统的基础， 也塑造了当代中国人的审美意识——这也涉及到海外华人的文化认同与身份问题。讲座后是大写意WorkShop互动，无偿提供毛笔宣纸，讲座者与大家一起体验如何临摹八大山人荷花， 分析古代著名书法名帖的临摹方法。
