Black Lunch Table

Black Lunch Table will host an online edit-a-thon and Q&A session at the College Art Association's Annual Conference,  February 13th, 2021. 

Black Lunch Table (BLT) will host an online edit-a-thon that focuses on important but underrepresented visual artists, curators, and art workers of the African Diaspora and especially those working in New York City on Saturday, February 13th, 2021 from 10:30am--12:30 pm EST. A brief overview of Wikipedia basics will be held at the beginning and editing support is available throughout the event. This event is free. All are invited, with no specialized knowledge of the subject or Wikipedia editing experience required.The Black Lunch Table (BLT) project creates a space to encourage people of color and women to join the Wikimedia movement while also asking white male editors to focus on gaps in coverage on Wikimedia.
