She blends her politics, activism, and art into projects that are designed to inspire others to take action, think, discuss, engage with democracy and their community, and find some digital/analog balance. Come learn a bit about craftivism and how craftivism is being used today, from Shannon Downey aka Badass Cross Stitch - a leader in the modern craftivism movement. She will introduce you to her global project www.BadassHERstory.com AND teach you how to embroider in just minutes so that you can join in the fun and the movement.
