<h1>SBIRT 101 </h1>The 1 hour webinar will be presented by James McCormack, Ph.D., and John Muench, M.D., M.P.H. The webinar will be from 12:00PM – 1:00PM.The Objectives of this webinar are to: <ol><li>Understand the overall SBIRT construct and how it differs from typical medical care.</li><li>State the steps in the SBIRT process and how they might differ from setting to setting.</li><li>Review and understand the components of the Oregon CCO SBIRT metric.</li><li>Discuss the challenges of capturing and reporting SBIRT data.</li></ol><aside> </aside>

This training is supported by the Oregon Rural Practice-based Research Network’s <a href="https://www.ohsu.edu/oregon-rural-practice-based-research-network" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a><a href="https://www.ohsu.edu/oregon-rural-practice-based-research-network" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">(ORPRN)</a> ANTECEDENT project. ANTECEDENT focuses on addressing unhealthy alcohol use in Oregon. The project team intends to work with over 80 primary care clinics and provide each clinic with the evidence and tools they need to help patients with moderate to severe Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) through the use of Screening and Brief Intervention (SBI) and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
