<h2>Mini-Workshop Series: Recycling 101 and Waste Reduction</h2>This is the first of a three-part mini-workshop series that covers the topic of waste. When you think of words that remind you of sustainability, the first word that might come to mind is recycling. Recycling is prevalent in most major cities around the world, but the actual practice of recycling has its downsides.In this mini-workshop, we&#x27;ll go over the following:<ul><li>the state of waste (particularly in NYC)</li><li>why responsible production and consumption matters for people and planet</li><li>recycling 101</li><li>how to go beyond recycling (e.g. waste reduction)</li></ul>These workshops are hosted by Belinda C.
