** DUE TO NUMEROUS LAST MINUTE REQUESTS, WE HAVE RE-OPENED RESERVATIONS UNTIL 11:59PM JULY 9TH ** The Cal Alumni Association and the San Gabriel Valley Cal Alumni Club invite you to join us for the annual Summer Welcome Party on Saturday, July 12th.Summer Welcome Parties are meant to give new University of California, Berkeley students a sense of the Cal community, the camaraderie amongst its students and alumni, and to put a human touch on the whole "going to college" process. We want to help put the students and parents at ease about what to expect but at the same time get them excited about what is ahead.This year's event will include a meal. We will be catered by Teri &amp; Yaki, a locally owned Asian restaurant that has also been one of the official caterers at the Rose Bowl. We will have chicken teriyaki, korean BBQ, tofu steaks, noodles and rice. We also have a generous donation donation of BBQ ribs and brisket, pasta, chicken strips and beans by Dr. David Lieu.You are welcome to share your contact information with the students and/or parents if you feel comfortable doing so.
