Rising Country Music star and hit songwriter, Ryan Griffin, is set to return to the stage as the headliner of this year’s Leadership Northwest Music Jam, presented by Wright Memorial Hospital and Hedrick Medical Center. Celebrating it’s fifth consecutive year, this event will once again be hosted at Black Silo Winery in Trenton, MO on Saturday, August 30, coinciding with the celebrations of Trenton’s Alumni Weekend. Along with the return of Ryan Griffin, the event will bring back all of the local performers from the previous years to take the stage together, which include Charlie Bacon, Salem Cory, Sam Gibson, Makayla Mejia, and Travis Mullenix. Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite.
Ryan Griffin headlined the Leadership Northwest Music Jam in 2022, which was the events second year. From co-writing Kelsea Ballerini’s #1 hit song “Dibs” to opening for major acts like Lady A, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce, Griffin has paved the way for his own music story. With millions of streams under his belt, Ryan has garnered critical attention as one of Rolling Stone’s 10 New Country Artists You Need to Know and has been highlighted on Ones to Watch lists by AOL, AXS, Country Fancast, NY Country Swag, PopDust, and Thought Catalog. As Red Street Country’s flagship artist, Ryan’s brand-new 2025 releases are grabbing attention around the world following his most recent project, Phases. Ryan can also be heard in just released feature film, No Address, as the writers and performer of the film’s title track ”Skin Deep.”
More than just a night of music, the Leadership Northwest Music Jam serves as a vital fundraiser for the Leadership Northwest Missouri (LNWMO) program. For the second year, the event takes on added significance with the introduction of a scholarship initiative. Proceeds from ticket sales will continue to support the LNWMO program, while also paving the way for the future by offering two $1,000 scholarships to deserving high school seniors. One scholarship will be awarded to a student from Grundy County, the host county of the Music Jam, while the second will go to a student from any of the 19 counties within the Northwest Missouri region. The announcement of this year’s recipients will be released soon.
Join us for an evening of music and entertainment with the extraordinary talents of Ryan Griffin, Charlie Bacon, Salem Croy, Sam Gibson, Makayla Mejia, and Travis Mullenix, but also to support future leaders in Northwest Missouri.
