Alicia is an artist, author, mentor, and guide living in Bull Valley, IL. She has been creating, especially painting & drawing, since she was young and has a passion for art and helping people. She believes in the Degas quote "Art is not what you see it is what you make others see," and applies this to her works of art and clients she coaches. Her life works include painting, drawing, hosting creative workshops, and guiding clients to reclaim and create an extraordinary life through her Art as a Medium to Heal program.Her Art as a Medium to Heal program helps and guides people who find themselves struggling, whether it be mental, physical, emotional, family, trauma, addiction, illness, career, or any other area that can effect life as we know it. Using multiple tools, one being art, she guides her clients to address and tap into what’s happening on the inside to help them move from where they are to where they want to be. Focusing on internal expressions, physical activity, healing (and so much more), she guides her clients to identify and release limitations and thrive in their own life’s story. Join us for a family-friendly event focused on creativity and self-expression through art! This inclusive workshop is especially designed for families with young children who may experience developmental delays or behavioral challenges. Children of all ages are welcome, with a special emphasis on little ones ages 5 and under. Did you know art can play a significant role in supporting mental health for both children and adults? Art can help individuals process emotions, reduce stress, build self-esteem, and improve overall well-being! Nothing connects parents and kids like art!Our painting events are a fun creative art party. You and your loved ones will create a beautiful work of art to take home. Flip through our provided inspiration packets to choose what you'd like to paint, and Alicia will guide you and your little ones step by step through the process. ●What are we painting: Adults and their child/children will paint together on canvases. Summer-themed packets will be provided to choose a picture to guide you in creating your paintings. We'll be painting with acrylic paint. You'll learn basic painting skills and build confidence in your newly created art. All paint supplies are provided. ●Food &amp; Drink: Feel free to bring your favorite drinks &amp; snacks. *No peanut or peanut products please*●Prerequisites: All ages and experience levels are welcome, especially families with young children (ages 5 and under). ●Tickets: All attendees must have a registered ticket so we can plan the room setup, tables, chairs, etc. Adult and child tickets are available on the ticket registration page.●Location: 5400 W Elm St, McHenry, IL 60050, BasementThis event is co-hosted by Alicia Londos and Birth to Five Illinois.
