The Thomas R. Brown Foundation seeks to advance the use of economic principles in public and private decision making through strategic partnerships and educational programs. Our program goal is to equip teachers to increase student exposure to fundamental principles of economics in a neutral and nonpartisan way, and to help students develop an appreciation of how economic analysis applies to everyday choices as well as business and policy issues.

<p>You are invited to find new ways to teach economic concepts to your students using popular children&#x27;s books. Our partner, the UA Office of Economic Education, is offering a Spring 2021 series that will show you how to incorporate economics into lessons that target ELA standards. The series will include one program for each of the following grade bands: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Attend one session to get information specific to your grade level, or mix and match sessions to get ideas that are applicable across grade levels. Attendees will receive a $20 Amazon Gift Card to purchase the books featured in each session!</p>
