Please join us in celebrating the opening of a dedicated space for herbal and alternative healing in Camp Washington! Come drink some complimentary tea, walk Campsite Art Park's Wellness Garden with her designer, and learn about our offerings. We will have a free raffle at the end of the event. This promises to be an evening full of community, networking, and awesomeness!About the organizers:Meghan Henshaw is a local herbalist, educator, researcher, writer, and grower. She has spent many years studying the ways in which medicinal plants are woven into the fabric of everyday life. As Ocotillo Herbals, she teaches herbal classes throughout the Midwest and crafts a line of herbal products which emphasize bioregional plants using herbs she grows in a community garden in the city.Julia Orquera Bianco is an Argentinian migrant artist and ecologist. She dedicates part of her time to learn about local ecology while studying the Indigenous traditions of the Americas. Julia is a Kambo practitioner and Medicine songstress with many years of experience walking and working the path of service. She launched the platform Q'enti in 2025 to consolidate and share these offerings. Her hybrid approach, bridging the science and the sacred creatively, helps her craft spaces where everyone is welcome.
