House music mainstay Lady Alma and Vertical Current will perform a free concert at The Lawn at uCity Square!

The University City Summer Series presented by University City District is bringing a FREE concert by house music mainstay <a href="https://theladyalma.com/?admin=1" title="https://theladyalma.com/?admin=1" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Lady Alma</a> and Vertical Current at <a href="https://ucitysquare.com/property/the-lawn/?admin=1" title="https://ucitysquare.com/property/the-lawn/?admin=1" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Lawn at uCity Square</a> (37th and Cuthbert) on Thursday, July 10th! The Philly songstress has made a worldwide name for herself with her eclectic and uplifting musical repertoire. Lady Alma is known for a range of uniquely inspirational jams, and her fans recognize not only the magic of her skillful vocal arches, but also her amazing songs and motivating messages. Be sure to check them out!Don't miss two more editions of the University City Summer Series in 2025! We're kicking things off with Brazilian dance band BlocoFunk on Thursday, June 12th and we'll close out the series with local ska band Catbite on August 21st!About the Lawn: The Lawn at uCity Square is a playful pop-up space where the neighborhood can find shade, feel the grass beneath their feet, and enjoy events like live music, movies, fitness classes, crafts, and more. The uCity Square Beer Garden is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 PM to 7 PM all season long. <a href="https://ucitysquare.com/events/" title="https://ucitysquare.com/events/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">See their full calendar of events here</a>.About Two Locals: Richard and Mengistu Koiler made history when they opened <a href="https://www.twolocalsbrewing.com/" title="https://www.twolocalsbrewing.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Two Locals Brewing Company</a>, the first Black-owned brewery in Philadelphia, in January of 2024 at 3675 Market Street within uCity Square. Two Locals serves a growing selection of house-brewed beers and food provided by Liberty Kitchen.
