The program opens with the introspective lyricism of Clara Schumann’s Romances, Brahms’ Im Herbst, and Fanny Mendelssohn’s rarely performed expressive string quartet—setting the tone for an evening of profound Romanticism.The second half ignites with Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, a bold and passionate masterpiece performed by violinists Julian Rhee and Misha Vitenson, violist Michael Klotz, cellist Jonah Kim, and pianist Marina Radiushina—a powerhouse ensemble hailed for their artistry, virtuosity, and deep musical chemistry.
