从燕园到哈佛：一座图书馆连接的中美学术传奇 ——北大校庆特别讲座

又是一年五四时，春风再起燕园情。在北大即将迎来建校127周年之际，北大新英格兰校友会特别策划校庆主题讲座，邀请哈佛大学燕京图书馆馆长、北京大学校友杨继东，为大家讲述哈佛燕京图书馆的百年故事与它深深植根于北大的历史渊源。这不仅是一场文化之旅，更是一次在海外重温北大精神的学术盛会。

The Harvard-Yenching Library

作为西方世界最大的东亚文献图书馆，哈佛燕京图书馆（Harvard-Yenching Library）自创立以来便承载着连接东西方文化的独特使命。在过去近一百年的时间里，它对推动国际汉学的发展起到了不可替代的作用。此次讲座，我们荣幸邀请到哈佛大学燕京图书馆馆长、北大校友——杨继东，带我们穿越图书馆厚重的时间脉络，讲述它的起源、发展与未来，讲述它与燕园之间割舍不断的历史联结。杨继东馆长也将亲自带我们参观哈佛大学燕京图书馆，并特别介绍馆藏中的《永乐大典》等珍稀典籍，带领我们一睹典藏之美，感受中西文化交汇之地的魅力。无论您是心系燕园情怀的北大人，还是热爱中华典籍与跨文化交流的学者朋友，诚邀您在这个春意盎然的日子，与我们一起聆听、回望、思考。
