Free Community Event ,Youth Creative Writing &Poetry Workshop for Middle &High School Students with a $3,000 College Scholarship Competiton

9am-12pm of the Youth Summit is for middle and high school students ONLY!!!

However, the Community is encourgage to attend from 12pm-3pm to watch the youth poetry competion, and also learn about free programs and services from some of the best nonprofits in Palm Beach County.

The Youth Poetry Summit is a free community based event for 6th-12th grade students. Where our objective is to empower and motivate the youth through spoken word and creative writing. To encourage and elevate students with their development with memorization techniques, stage performances, public speaking skills, and to introduce various writing devices while promoting a positive mental health outlet.

Not only is this event free we will be awarding 3 scholarship to the college or trade school of their choice! First place will win $1500, 2nd place $1000, and 3rd place will receive a $500 scholarship.

Parents, and the communiy are encouraged to come at 12:00pm to enjoy the entertainment from Digital Vibez, and the poetry competion. Since this is in the park lawn chairs , and outdoor blankets are highly recommended.

Itinerary:

9-10am Registration and Gift bags distributed

10am Kick off and Opening words

10:30 session one

11:15 session two

12:00 Lunch provided for students ONLY and entertainment from Tik Tok sensation and nonprofit Digital Vibez and YEC Lakeworth For the Children will be performing.

1:00-3pm Student Poetry Competion where students 3 lucky winners will receive a $1500, $1000, and $500 college scholarship. These scholarships will be paid direclty to the educational institution of their choice.
