Technology Training Series Session 1: Technology Strategy

CAMEO Network is a national micro-business association made up of 400 organizations, agencies, and individuals dedicated to furthering Micro-Business development with small and micro-business financing such as loans and credit, technical assistance and business management training. Annually, CAMEO members serve about 200,000 very small businesses with training, business and credit assistance and loans. These firms – largely start-ups with less than six employees – support or create 300,000 new jobs and generate a total of $15 billion in economic activity.

Strengthen your CDFI’s tech strategy with our 3-course series on building strategic, effective, and sustainable systems.

Join us for the first session of our Technology Series: Technology Strategy. The Technology Series is designed to help CDFIs build strategic, effective, and sustainable technology systems. Each session will offer practical tools and insights to strengthen operations and support long-term growth through tech-driven solutions. Who should attend this course? CAMEO courses are designed for both new and emerging CDFIs, as well as established ones. CAMEO’s core audience is microlenders and small business lenders, but of course, we welcome housing CDFIs and others doing community development work. Please note: Each session is 90 minutes and requires separate registration. Participants are welcome to join one or all sessions in the series based on interest and availability. About the instructor:This training series is led by Mark DiGiovanni of ATX Adivsory Services, joined by members of the ATX team. Mark brings over 25 years of experience leading consulting engagements in strategic planning, operational assessments, software, and IT transformation. He has supported clients ranging from startups to public companies, with a strong track record of helping mission-driven organizations navigate complex technology challenges. Prior to founding ATX, Mark was a Director at RSM and led the Northeast Region for a national ERP consulting practice. Session One Learning Objectives: Technology Strategy - May 15, 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET<ul><li>Understand how to assess your organization’s current IT maturity using the CDFI IT Maturity Continuum.</li><li>Learn how to conduct a technology needs analysis and develop a strategic tech roadmap.</li><li>Explore common CDFI technology platforms, including pros, cons, and selection criteria.</li><li>Gain practical tools for evaluating software solutions and managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.</li></ul>
