Join us for an important online discussion with Billy Davis, Director of Executive and Major Event Security for Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Billy will be sharing his expert insights into the assassination attempt on President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. Billy has extensive credentials, serving as a Special Agent in the U.S. Secret Service for almost 3 decades. Billy was not only a Team Leader on the USSS Counter Assault Teams, but also served as Special Agent in Charge of the Vice Presidential Protective Division. These are elite assignments within the Secret Service, requiring high-level tactical, operational, and leadership expertise. In his current role, Billy provides personal security for Reverend Franklin Graham as he travels globally to areas impacted by war and disaster, bringing both humanitarian aid and hope. With more than 30 years of experience at the highest levels of federal protection, Billy brings a uniquely qualified perspective to the Butler event and the broader implications for executive security. About Billy:Billy Davis – Director of Executive and Major Event Security, Samaritan’s PurseBilly Davis brings a distinguished legacy of service, leadership, and athletic excellence to his role as Director of Executive and Major Event Security for Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.A proud 1984 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Billy made his mark early as a two-sport athlete, playing both football and baseball under legendary coaches Danny Ford and Bill Wilhelm. He was a member of Clemson’s 1981 National Championship Football Team—a personal highlight—and still ranks second in school history for career punt returns.Following a brief professional football career with the St. Louis Cardinals (1984–1985), Billy dedicated nearly three decades to public service as a Special Agent in the United States Secret Service. His tenure culminated in his role as Special Agent in Charge of the Vice Presidential Protective Division for then–Vice President Joseph R. Biden, prior to his retirement in 2015. His commitment to excellence in security and leadership has continued with his current position at Samaritan’s Purse.Billy’s academic journey includes postgraduate studies at both Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Military Bowl from 2010 to 2018.Though his Clemson roots run deep, Billy is also a proud supporter of the Kentucky Wildcats, where his youngest daughter competed on the University of Kentucky Swim and Dive Team.
