Learn how to printmake using linoleum with your very own printmaking kit!

In honor of our a <a href="https://pioneerworks.org/store/duke-riley-table-for-three-2020" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">woodblock edition by Duke Riley</a>, produced in collaboration with Brooklyn’s Shoestring Press, participants will learn how to printmake using linoleum. Participants will be mailed supplies kits to start their own linoleum printmaking practice. From 1:00pm-1:45, join Shoestring Press' Lane Sell for instruction followed by a break to carve on your own from 2-3pm. The class will end will a final segment of instruction from 3:15-4pmDate: This one-time online workshop meets on Sunday, February 14 from 1-4pm ET via Zoom. (An additional session will be available on Sunday, February 7 and requires separate registration.)Price: $195 (Materials included)Audience: Open to all.Materials: Participants will be mailed a supplies kit.Lane Sell is founder, owner, and master printer of Shoestring Press where he works with artists and instructs classes in a variety of print mediums. His monumental silkscreen print works are created from body prints, archival images, text and found objects, and often call for the participation of the audience.Dedicated to doing more with less, <a href="http://www.shoestringpressny.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shoestring Press</a> serves artists in Brooklyn with printmaking, drawing and painting work space, master printer services, and community.Please note, this online workshop will begin promptly at the listed start time. In order to ensure the quality of instruction for all participants, late entry will not be permitted.
