You will leave the workshop with tips and a list of resources. This Mobile Movement Filming workshop will help you take the best shots possible, start understanding the camera, and how to compose both the camera and movement, so you may begin your mobile film journey. (Level: beginners &amp; new filmmakers) Gabri Christa makes work for stage, screen and everything in between. She hails from the Dutch Caribbean and lives in NYC. Gabri is currently directing and filming a new series of film shorts, touring her work Magdalena, and prepping for the Moving Body- Moving Image Festival a social issues Screendance film festival she created. She is an Assistant Professor at Barnard College - Columbia University where she teaches dance and film and directs the Movement Lab.
