Not at all! This workshop is designed for everyone, regardless of artistic experience. The focus is on expression and connection, not perfection. You’ll be guided through approachable, meaningful activities that anyone can do.

Will I be learning how to teach art to clients?

Accepted Answer

You’ll learn how to facilitate creative practices as a support tool—like guiding a client in making a vision board or birth affirmation cards—not formal art instruction. Think: simple, soulful, and supportive.

Question 3

What kinds of materials will we use, and do I need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

Being that this is a virtual workshop we ask that you have your own supples, including collage supplies, affirmations, journals, and creative tools (paper, markers, pen, color pencils). You’re welcome to bring any personal items (photos, fabric, quotes, etc.) you may want to include in your project.

How can I use this with my clients?

Accepted Answer

You’ll leave with adaptable tools you can use in prenatal sessions, postpartum visits, or even during early labor—plus a few resources to help you explain the process to clients. These activities can strengthen emotional support and foster open communication.

Is this workshop only for birth doulas?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! Postpartum doulas, midwives, student doulas, and anyone in perinatal support work will find value in these creative techniques.

Will there be time for discussion or reflection?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Each session includes time for guided conversation, optional sharing, and connection with other doulas in a safe, supportive space.

Will I receive a certificate of participation?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All participants will receive a digital certificate for each workshop attended.
