We are thrilled to announce that the Great Northern Psychiatry Summer School (GNPSS) is back for its fifth year! The GNPSS a very exciting opportunity to take a deeper look into psychiatry, and how wonderful it is to join psychiatry training in the beautiful North East. You will have the amazing opportunity to meet, discuss, and ask questions to our leading consultants and our trainees throughout our 3-day program, both online and in-person.Great Northern Psychiatry Summer School course 9th until 11th July 2025<ul><li>Day 1 &amp; 2 – online lecture series – FREE</li><li>Day 3 – an immersive in-person day to experience what life is like as a trainee, join in a psychotherapy balint group experience, meet members of the RCPsych, and present posters&nbsp; (holding deposit £5 refunded on attendance) - Darlington</li></ul>You can look forward to:<ul><li>Tips on applying for training</li><li>Talks on sub-specialities from perinatal, psychotherapy to medicolegal psychiatry and everything in between</li><li>Interactive sessions including an emergency psychiatry workshops, risk assessments, and a real Balint Group</li><li>The opportunity to present a poster</li><li>A networking event with trainees and of course pizza</li></ul>We look forward to seeing you there!
