Ready to take your political leadership to the next level? Train the Trainer is your opportunity to become a certified NWPC trainer and join our national network of experts leading candidate trainings across the country.

This certification will train women in more than 20 different subjects, armed with over 30 interactive exercises, powerpoint explanations, and background on the importance of each subject. With increasing numbers of women running for office this year, we will need hundreds of new trainers, campaign workers, and strategists to help as many women as possible - win!

Join the National Women’s Political Caucus for a news conference highlighting key themes of the 27th Biennial Convention, including the fight for gender equity in politics, rising threats to women’s rights, and the power of women’s leadership at every level. This timely panel will examine the threats posed by the current national administration to women, families, and vulnerable communities—from reproductive freedom to immigrant rights—and highlight how our allies are pushing back through bold, pro-choice leadership. Featuring state lawmakers and advocates, the discussion will explore how state-level action can serve as a national model for resistance and reform.

How Bad Is It—and What Do We Do About It?

This dynamic panel will feature young women leaders (ages 16–24) from across the country who are organizing, advocating, and stepping into public life at a time of deep uncertainty. From confronting systemic barriers to building new models of engagement, these panelists will share personal stories, leadership journeys, and the power of mentorship through NWPC. Attendees will leave energized to support and grow youth leadership in their communities and within NWPC itself.

Rising Voices: Youth Leadership in Action

Learn about the strategic recruitment model behind California’s remarkable rise from 19th to 4th in the nation for women’s legislative representation with Close The Gap’s Executive Director Susannah Delano. Drawing from the landmark Center for American Women and Politics report that analyzes their breakthrough approach, Delano will discuss how Close the Gap’s methodology of targeted recruitment, personalized coaching, and comprehensive support can accelerate progress on closing any gap, anywhere - and what else is necessary to transform the culture of electoral politics.

Lunch & Learn: Achieving Gender Parity with Susannah Delano

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation with civil rights attorney, author, and professor Gloria Browne Marshall. Through the lens of her powerful new book, A Protest History of the United States, we will explore the critical role protest has played in shaping our democracy—and how today’s movements continue that legacy. This conversation will be followed by a book signing from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm!

Throughout the year, the Political Planning and Action Committee meets to review pro-choice women candidates across the country for potential endorsement. Every dollar we raise for the NWPC Parity PAC will go directly to our endorsed candidates.
