LIVE WORSHIP SERVICEJourney is so excited to welcome you to our CHRISTMAS service!In these times of COVID-19, social distancing and government guidelines, we are opening our doors to live services in a much different setting than ever before.Because seating is limited, we are asking guests to secure a ticket only if they are certain they can attend AND to please attend the service they reserve the ticket(s) for.SPECIAL NOTEThose who have a compromised immune system or are considered at a greater risk due to underlying health conditions are encouraged to remain online for the time being.WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?Here is a quick reminder of all the items you should have with you as you come to the church campus:Eventbrite ticket(s) -- please bring a printout of your ticket OR have it readily available on your phone. We will be scanning guests as you arrive to confirm ticketing. Guests who forgot their tickets will be directed to Information at the Guest Services Desk for confirmation of reservation and temperature screening. This may delay your entry into service;Face Mask -- we are requiring our guests to wear a face mask until you are seated. If you’d like to remove your face mask, you may do so once you are seated. If you get up from your seat, please put your face mask back on. We request you maintain the social distancing guidelines and wear a mask if you are within 6ft of someone outside your household;Hand Sanitizer -- guests are encouraged to bring personal hand sanitizer. Journey also has hand sanitizer stations deployed throughout the area;FAQsWhat if I forget my face mask or I don&#x27;t have one? JCC has a limited supply of face masks available for guests who do not have one.I’m concerned about social distancing? We are asking all persons to wear a face mask until seated and to please leave 3 seats between households. We also provide seat spacer cards for our guests; available for pickup at the Guest Services table. These precautions are put in place to allow for social distancing.What is the temperature screening accomplishing? We will check all staff &amp; volunteers as CDC and County guidelines indicate a person presenting a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher should not be admitted. Our guests will be symptom screened. If symptoms present, they will not be admitted onto the campus.Why is Journey opening if there are still concerns about COVID-19 and the need for all these protective measures? Great question. Throughout this entire pandemic the need to gather has been clearly expressed. The church is ESSENTIAL. The emotional &amp; spiritual well-being of our community is taking a big hit, people are desperate.Do you still take an offering? Yes, we consider this an act of worship. However, if you&#x27;re just checking out this whole church thing please do not feel obligated to give. This service is our gift to you. For those who call Journey their home, we ask you to give. We will not pass an offering bag. There is an offering box near the Information Desk at Guest Services or better yet, click here to <a href="https://journeycommunitychurch.com/giving/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">GIVE</a> online.COVID-19 RESPONSEJourney Community Church is implementing enhanced safety measures to establish a low risk experience for our guests. These include:<ul><li>Temperature screening of all employees &amp; volunteers and symptom screening of all guests;</li><li>Requiring masks to be worn until seated and on campus if social distancing is not possible;</li><li>Socially distancing seating to conform with CDC and County guidelines;</li><li>Requesting guests to refrain from shaking hands or coming into contact with anyone outside their family;</li><li>Keeping doors propped open to reduce/eliminate the need to touch entrances;</li><li>Restricting the number of guests in the restrooms;</li><li>Posting social distancing &amp; sanitation reminders in high traffic areas;</li><li>Recommending immune compromised or high risk guests avoid coming to the campus;</li><li>Implementing enhanced cleaning using EPA approved disinfectants in high traffic areas, wiping down any surfaces that are contacted by guests;</li><li>Water fountains are closed as well as the Plaza Cafe.</li></ul>PET POLICY: As much as we love our furry friends, we have a no pet policy on campus.
